On Feb 24th, 2017 the club had the pleasure of having a guided tasting hosted by Jameson Irish Whiskey Canadian ambassador Connor Timmonds.

Connor presented a fantastic story of the history of the distillery inter woven with timely tastings of each of the 8 expressions. I must say it was quite the treat to sample the new lineup of the 3 special expressions, Blenders Dog, Coopers Croze and Distillers Safe. Each had a fantastic story behind the blends.

Congratulations goes out to Nicki Proulx, the winner of Expensive Taste’s 2016 Glass Turkey Draw. The winning ticket was sold by Expensive Taste member, Tom Suliman.
With proceeds from the draw a donation of $250 will be made in the name of Jacek Wyszynski to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kitchener Branch.

The Glass Turkey draw is occurring this Friday June 24th, so if you haven’t purchased your tickets for the draw you still have a few days to do so.
Please remember that Expensive Taste KW is supporting the KW Cancer Society by donating half of the proceeds from ticket sales to this very worthwhile cause.
The winner will be drawn at our regular club meeting this Friday and will be contacted immediately following the draw to be informed of the win. Grand Prize is a texas mickey of whisky of the winners choosing.

Expensive Taste KW is once again holding our semi-annual Glass Turkey Draw. Tickets are being sold for $2 each or 3 for $5 with the chance to win a Texas Mickey of Whisky (choice of the winner)

Fifty percent of the proceeds from this years draw will be donated to the KW Cancer Society in honour of Jacek Wyszynski, father of Expensive Taste KW member Raf, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
