An old dusty, clearly from the leather-look case! A very clear departure from GG’s modern approach – there is no 21 year age statement any longer, but rather “vintages” of specific years, such as 1999. A great dram!

You cannot purchase Kirkland Whisky in Ontario, but the Club was able to procure a bottle for interests’ sake. Signatory Vintage Glenburgie 25
Another great expression from Signatory Vintage, and another new distillery to this club! Great to experience an affordable 25 year-old at a reasonable price point in the $300 range. Sourced from Alberta.
Tullibardine 25
A smooth, well loved dram on a lovely summer night. You won’t be seeing 25 year old Tulli for a while, as the distillery was not operating from 1995-2003. This bottle was purchased in 2020! Perhaps there is still some around?

A great dram from an independent bottler – wish we saw more Ben Nevis around Ontario, a friendly place located at the foot of mount Ben Nevis in Fort William, Scotland, but owned by Japanese whisky, Nikka.
Masters 2022 – FINAL Results
Ok everyone, the final results are in! As always, Expensive Taste would like to extend our thanks to everyone who participated in this amazing event. The winners will be contacted shortly to distribute prizes. We cannot wait until next years event… but if you do not want to wait, check out our golf tournament… did we mention that yet?

Masters 2022 – Round 4 Update
Well, that was quite the finish! While Scheffler held off to take the win, it was not an easy one. Rory McIlroy had a spectacular 8 under finishing round (only 1 stroke off the all time single round record of -9 set by Nick Price in 1986). Smith got within a stroke and then collapsed. Tiger Woods wore his Sunday red, which was a great sight to see, albeit, not so much his golf game. But, seeing him out there after all he has been through was amazing for everyone. All day long it felt like there was a ton of action with no guaranteed winner. Speaking of that, here are the UNOFFICIAL results of the pool! Our golf guru will have to final information as soon as possible and we will post the final results tomorrow morning. Thanks again to all who participated and look forward to seeing most of you at the tournament on June 18th!
